Holly’s Story
My name is Holly Atchison, I’m 32 and I’m a grateful recovering addict. I came from a broken home as a child, but I knew both of my parents loved me unconditionally. I got married at the age of 19. I already had 2 kids (twins) and I had 2 more with my husband. He committed suicide in 2010. That’s when my addiction started. Instead of coping with reality, I turned to opiates. In 2012, I met my fiance and got sober for a while. I bought a house, worked, life was back on track! My fiance had a brain aneurysm and passed away January of 2017. I started using heroin and meth 24/7 to cope. I lost my house, kids, and family. I went to jail. I sat 14 months and was able to get into a recovery program. I’m currently working the program and I’m residing at the Noble House. I’ve found peace here at the Noble House which is God! I’ve learned with God anything is possible. My struggles have been blessings, and I thank God everday for saving my life and giving me the opportunity to be here at the Noble House. If I can do it, anybody can.
